Kartemquin and The American Dream

Join us next week at the University of Chicago for a screening of Barbara Kopple's Academy-Award winning film, American Dream (1990) as a part of a series at the Film Studies Center entitled "Human Rights at Home." Gordon Quinn, Peter Gilbert and Jerry Blumenthal helped shoot and record sound for various parts of the film and will be on hand to answer questions about the documentary following the screening.

Join Kartemquin's Gordon Quinn at the Chicago premiere of the new documentary, Waiting to Inhale, Thursday September 20th, sponsored by The Public Square, The Illinois Humanities Council and Columbia College. The film explores the evolution of the medical marijuana debate.
