Sister Helen Prejean, one of the nation's leading advocates against the death penalty, will present a special free screening of At the Death House Door as part of Mercer University's Martin Luther King Jr. Day Freedom Lecture series. The screening takes place on Sunday January 16th at 1.30pm in Macon, Georgia.
Other events over the weekend include a screening of Dead Man Walking, the film based on Sister Prejean's best-selling memoir, her lecture, and a writing workshop. Get more information.
