Lauren Foley

Lauren joined Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications (JT) in June 2004 as an account executive. She returned to JT in 2006, after serving for one year as associate director of marketing communications at the University of Illinois at Chicago. At JT, Lauren, now VP of Operations, stage management and video production, Lauren has worked on a wide variety of projects for both public and private sector clients.

In 2013, Lauren served as the production liaison to City Hall/ field producer on the IDA nominated series, CHICAGOLAND, produced by Robert Redford and Laura Michalsychn of Sundance Productions and Marc Levin and Marc Benjamin of BrickCity TV.

Most recently, Lauren and her team have worked with the Chicago Community Trust to produce a series of videos in conjunction with the On the Table initiative. In addition, Lauren has produced videos for a wide range of clients including ADA 25 Chicago, IAMHP, DeVry University,Advantage Academy, the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council, the American Medical Association, the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission and the Presidential Appointee Leadership Program.

Lauren served as stage & production manager for the 12th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, held in Chicago April 23-25, 2012. In partnership with the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights and The Chicago Community Trust Lauren and the JT team developed and implemented a comprehensive program of events for the Summit: a theatrical and compelling opening ceremony, six Davos-style panel sessions, two award ceremonies, two formal dinners, three lunches and several video messages.

Lauren handled all stage management duties for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Women and the Economy Summit in San Francisco in September 2011. Attendees included more than 600 delegates, ministers, government officials, private sector leaders and academics from 21 Asia-Pacific economies, lead by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Lauren managed multiple panel discussions simultaneously during the four-day summit.

Other major events stage managed and produced by Lauren include: the grand opening of the William J Clinton Presidential Library, the grand opening of the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, the 2011 and 2015 inaugurals of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, CURE’s annual benefit gala, and the annual After School Matters gala.

Lauren graduated from Marquette University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and electronic communications.
