Taylor Chain II: A Story of Collective Bargaining

In 1981-2, the Kartemquin filmmakers returned to the Taylor Chain plant to show labor and management working together against the odds, trying to save the plant from becoming the latest victim of anti-union legislation and the globalization of cheap, exploitable labor.

Beginning this Friday September 16th and continuing through September 26th, the UCLA Film and Television Archive and the International Documentary Association (IDA) will host a 15-film KTQ retrospective at the Billy Wilder Theater in Los Angeles.
