A Good Man to debut at Full Frame

Kartemquin is proud to announce that A Good Man will have its World Premiere at the prestigious Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in April.  A Good Man follows the controversial modern dance choreographer Bill T. Jones over two years as he and his company create a dance-theatre piece on Abraham Lincoln.  Jones grapples with the contradictions of Lincoln’s legacy as he struggles working with the young minds and bodies of the dancers who were not alive during the civil rights movement; a time that formed Jones into who he is.
A Good Man will be playing alongside The Interrupters at the festival.  It is a rare and special occasion for two Kartemquin films to screen together in one weekend at the same fest.  There will be a large Kartemquin contingent representing.  Be sure to check back March 25th to see the dates and times the films will be showing.
