Edith+Eddie now streaming on Topic.com

Kartemquin is thrilled to share that First Look Media’s entertainment studio, Topic Studios, has acquired the streaming rights for our Oscar-nominated documentary short, Edith+Eddie, for their digital storytelling site, Topic.com. Click here to Stream the film. Edith+Eddie, directed by Laura Checkoway (Lucky), follows America's oldest interracial newlyweds at age 96 and 95. Their love story is disrupted by a family feud that threatens to tear the couple apart. Millions of American families go through elder care disputes and guardianship cases. These cases are life altering, emotionally and financially depleting, and dealt with in isolation. Continued

'63 Boycott has LA premiere tomorrow at PAFF

'63 Boycott, a film by Rachel Dickson, Tracye A. Matthews and Gordon Quinn, will have its Los Angeles premiere at the Pan African Film + Arts Festival on February 13 at 6:25PM. Purchase tickets here. Minding the Gap opens Next:Wave, makes International Premiere

Sundance Special Jury Award-winning Minding the Gap by Bing Liu will make its International premiere at the CPH:DOX international competition, Next:Wave, a newly created competition "dedicated to emerging filmmakers with the courage to take chances." The fest runs March 15-25 in Copenhagen. The winner of Next:Wave will be found by a jury and announced at CPH:DOX's Award Ceremony on March 23. '63 Boycott wins Audience Award for Best Documentary Short at PAFF!

'63 Boycott, a film by Rachel Dickson, Tracye A. Matthews, and Gordon Quinn took home the Audience Award for Best Documentary Short at the Pan African Film + Arts Festival this past week following its LA premiere at the fest on Thursday, February 15!
