This weekend, the 2015 Geneva Film Festival gave Joanna Rudnick's On Beauty the Best Documentary Short award, and Dan Rybicky and Aaron Wickenden were given an Emerging Documentary Filmmaker Award for Almost There.
Dan and Aaron were able to pick up both awards on behalf of Kartemquin at this upcoming Illinois film festival, now in its 8th year.
The Audience Award winner at Chicago Film Festival, On Beauty continues to forge ahead with a busy festival schedule, with screenings coming up at the Reelabilities NY Disabilities Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, American Documentary Film Festival in Palm Springs, and Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival.
